Cloud infrastructure & colocation
Tokyo data-center racks, procurement and build of private compute, security hardening, and year-round operations—with design consultancy up front.
Private compute is sometimes a better fit than public-cloud metering alone. GPU workstations, CI workers, and agent hosts belong in a rack whose power and connectivity are known—and someone has to own monitoring, patching, and recovery. TokyoScale takes that from design through operations.
Colocation
We arrange rack space, power, and connectivity in a Tokyo data center, with the facility operator. Line speed, power draw, distribution, on-site work, and contract terms are settled with the facility before a formal order. Initial circuit and power setup moves with the equipment install.
Procurement and build
We select and procure the machines, then assemble, ship, rack, burn in, and acceptance-test them as one job.
- GPU development workstations — local training, inference trials, and model checks
- CI and test workers — builds and tests that stay on the rack
- AI agent hosts — small machines meant to stay up
- Network — router and VPN, switching, remote KVM, and the first in-rack cabling
Model numbers, PSU headroom, and whether a chassis actually fits the rack are checked before order. If something does not fit, we change the spec in writing.
Security and recovery
The initial build includes security design, endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, access rights, and hardening. We stand up backup and recovery, then run a restore drill. Design notes and runbooks stay with the system so a handover does not reset the procedure.
Operations
Monitoring is not the end of the job. A typical year of operations includes:
- 24-hour automated monitoring
- Weekly inspection, including an on-site look
- Vulnerability and patch management
- First-line triage
- A monthly report
- Periodic security reviews
Data-center fees, equipment, and operations are quoted separately—they are different scopes. AI usage, endpoint-protection licenses, backup storage, dedicated circuits, and spare parts stay out of the quote unless we name them.
Technical consulting
Platform design, performance checks, and acceptance criteria come before procurement. Before adding machines, we agree what the rack is for and who does what when it fails.
